Crowne Plaza Indianapolis-Dwtn-Union Stn, an IHG Hotel

This was an awesome hotel for several reasons. It possesses so much local history, it has been constructed around much of that local history, and it (including other parts of the Union Station complex not connected with the hotel) is relevant to the present day with many amenities nearby. Don't miss taking an opportunity to get a complete tour of the Crowne Plaza property including the original Union Station--the banquet hall is a true jem for Indy! We didn't stay in a Pullman passenger car room, but I will next time. If you are a railroad fan, this location should be on your bucket list top 10!

I liked that even though Booking.com lost / deleted my reservations the Hotel manager at the Crowne Plaza helped me and made accommodations for me. I spent about an hour on the phone with Booking just trying to find my reservation. I booked this hotel stay a month in advance. Booking took my credit card payment 2 weeks before the stay, so it was nice to have such a great staff at the hotel to help me.

The location was excellent, right where we needed to be. The staff was friendly and tried to meet all needs. The valet service was awesome, they were very friendly, gave us good tips on where to go eat and was very convenient. Also, the unique history of his hotel was really cool to learn about, that was an extra plus.

Ambiance, Union Station architecture was neat, adjacent parking was quite convenient, staff were sincere and helpful. Enjoyed close distances to restaurants and to river park.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly. Love the unique concept of staying inside a train.
